Broad Use of Harsh Tactics Is Described at Cuba Base

where is the outrage? By re-electing Bush we endorse his policies. By endorsing his policies, we tell the world (and NO, we're not alone on this planet) that we condone these actions.
We have already lost our Moral Authority (whatever we had left of it) at Abu Ghraib, and incidentally, that's when we lost the Iraq War.
Now it seems to me, that the terrorists have won - they made us show ourselves for the monsters that we can be. Doesn't matter that it's in self-defense. Isn't there a line somewhere that says that when you engage in war, you become what you fight?
Is this a permanent victory? Not at all. Can this be reversed? Absolutely. That's what the elections are for. Let me restate that we're in this war for only as long as WE want to be in it.
